Sudha Parasuraman, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer

Sudha Parasuraman, M.D. has served as our chief medical officer since August 2019. Prior to joining us, Dr. Parasuraman provided drug development consulting services to multiple companies from August 2018 to July 2019. Dr. Parasuraman served as the chief medical officer at X4 Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from January 2017 to July 2018. Dr. Parasuraman served as vice president, global medical affairs at uniQure, Inc. from April 2016 to January 2017, and prior to that she served as the senior medical director at Novartis Oncology from September 2010 to March 2016. Dr. Parasuraman completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and pediatric residencies at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center. She received a M.B.B.S. from the University of Madras, India.
